Creation As A Cause

A quote from the musical Rent states something like, “The opposite of war isn’t peace. It’s creation.” So here I am speaking about creating things. As a machinist, I actually make things everyday, and as an author I have created a book, more to follow hopefully. None of this do I feel actually balances my life. I did have a hand in creating four very brilliant children, two of whom are adults now, the other two still in process. This all leads to connections and causes.

A recent vacation brought me into contact with a young creator and organizer by the name of Garret. Fresh out of college, he looked around the Springfield Missouri art scene and found several independent artists and creators trying to start up and decided to band them together. He created a website www.gmr-media.com for them to congregate and work from. Something about see a need, fill a need goes here.

As a starting creator myself, I felt that giving a simple shout out to someone fighting against war was the least I could do.
